What's New: Pattern Updates and Reworks
For this fall-winter season, I am offering you a new, somewhat special collection...
I usually offer you new patterns to customize twice a year, which considerably increases the number of possible compositions each time. In addition, I feed on the messages I receive from you every day: remarks, comments, questions about my patterns... They allow me to listen to your desires and needs and to highlight everything I could improve to offer you the best possible customizable sewing experience.
After 3 and a half years of existence for the customizable patterns, it is time for me to take care of the existing patterns. So I chose to update and enrich some patterns instead of a collection of new patterns. The new variations that I offer you still allow you to go from 8,000 to 12,000 possible compositions with the customizable patterns!
I hope this will be an opportunity for you to (re)discover some patterns and to inspire you to imagine your unique and tailor-made creation thanks to the models that I have sewn for the occasion. This does not mean that there will be no more new patterns, there is no shortage of ideas ;-) But the pace of new products will surely be slowed down and will follow the whim of my desires and inspirations, as well as the time available to carry out all my projects ;-)
All these updates are available for free if you have already purchased the patterns . The links to download the new versions of the patterns have been sent to you by email (maybe in spam) and are also available in your customer area. Find out how to do it here .
In this article I will detail all the new features added to the patterns.
Happy reading, happy customizing and happy sewing!

The skirts
This is the biggest new feature of this season. I have worked on a complete overhaul of the bottoms range and in particular of some timeless skirts.
The lengths are now harmonized between the patterns and 5 versions are available for skirts with a circle base: short, midi, long (ankle-length), ceremony (floor-length) and ceremony with train.
Here is the new content offered in each boss.
The fitted long skirt becomes the 1/4 circle skirt
• the boss •
Since the customizable patterns originated from my wedding dress brand, this pattern was only available in ceremony length with or without a train. But it is also perfect in other lengths to sew a flowing skirt for everyday life.
It now contains 5 lengths and to present this new version to you, I sewed the midi length in " Just the bottom " mode in a 165 g/m2 Urban Leo viscose twill from Mind the Maker .
The skater skirt becomes the half-circle skirt
• the boss •
Its outline remains the same, it just gains a few lengths :-) You can now sew this pattern (which was only available in short and midi) for long skirts or dresses, and even for the bride with the addition of a train.
To inspire you, I sewed two versions:
• A long skirt (ankle) with the “ Juste le bas ” belt in 120g/m² Granito Chestnut viscose from Atelier Brunette
• A two-tone asymmetrical midi-length dress in heavy crease-resistant 292 g/m² crepe from Stragier (Vermilion and Powder Pink colors / matching Venezia lining for the top / bust fully canvassed with DS1 interfacing )
The long circle skirt becomes the circle skirt
• the boss •
This pattern can now be sewn for other occasions than a wedding. It is the skirt that turns par excellence because it forms a complete circle.
To inspire you, I sewed two versions:
• A black tulle skirt, midi length. It is made of 2 layers of extra soft tulle and a Venezia lining from Stragier. To add volume, a strip of horsehair is sewn into the hem of the lining.
• A dress made up of the patterns " Boat neckline ", " short circle skirt " and " 3/4 puffed sleeves ". I wanted warm tones for fall and the Lucie Ochre 125gr/m² viscose crepe from Atelier Brunette is sublime for that! Worn with tights and a bodysuit underneath, it will be perfect for mid-season.
The straight skirt is enriched
• the boss •
Why invent a new pattern when the existing ones allow us to realize our desires? The long skirts that I offer are generally flared and flowing. I wanted to offer you something more structured and to work around the slits.
The straight skirt, initially only available in a short version, was perfect for this. It has been lengthened to allow you to sew it in a midi or long version and the booklet explains how to sew slits on the sides or in the middle of the back.
The dress I sewed is made up of the patterns " Backless V ", " long straight skirt with side slits " and " short classic sleeves ". The fabric is a heavy viscose twill 190gr/m² with a peach skin look from Stragier .
The gathered skirt offers more lengths
• The boss •
The latest stocking pattern to be enhanced: the gathered skirt . It goes from 3 to 4 lengths, it is the ideal skirt for an easy-to-wear dress.
I sewed for Maëva a long dress in soft viscose twill 150gr/m² black with polka dots from Stragier . It is composed of the patterns " Square neckline ", " long gathered skirt " and " long puffed sleeves ".
The sleeves
Puff sleeves are one of your favorite patterns. The first version only contained long sleeves. Then, I wanted short puff sleeves for the summer. Finally, this new version sees the arrival of the 3/4 length to sew this pattern for mid-season.
You will also find in the pattern new step-by-step photos that are more readable and detailed, as well as instructions for choosing the best size for you.
Step-by-step photos
The first customizable patterns are already 3 and a half years old! Since their launch in May 2019, I have regularly made improvements to the booklets and boards.
This is why the step-by-step photos of the timeless Asymmetrical , Classic , Backless V and Diamond Back patterns have been completely redone to be in line with the content that I offer you on the other references.
A reorganization of files
Finally, all the pattern files have been reorganized. You will now find a summary document of the files included in your PDF pattern. It will help you easily find the board that suits you (A4, A0, with or without margins included).
