Sew for the holidays with the #jecoudsmarobedefête competition
This is the traditional event that I offer you at the end of each year: sew your own holiday outfit and share it on Instagram. What a great way to learn to sew than to challenge yourself! So, are you ready to take up the challenge? I'll explain all the information about the competition in this article.
The creative challenge
Sew a dress (or jumpsuit / top + bottom set) for the end-of-year celebrations. The creation must be sewn with the Atelier Charlotte Auzou patterns ( books or PDF patterns #MaRobeAtelierCharlotteAuzou ).
How to participate?
You have until midnight on January 6, 2022 to submit your entry to the contest. To do so, post on Instagram a publication including the photo or video of your creation and the mentions #jecoudsmarobedefête & @ateliercharlotteauzou (your Instagram account must be public).
The winners
At the end of the competition, the jury composed of the competition partners will determine the 3 most beautiful creations according to the originality and aesthetics of the creation and the photo. The number of likes will not influence our choice.
The lots
My favorite brands have once again responded to spoil you, thank you to them!
Back to Glam is the expert lingerie for great backless styles. Thanks to its revolutionary bra, backless styles are not reserved for small chests. The concept is completed by a range of invisible stockings, including the new shaping panty, compatible even with the most low-cut backs.
I have been sewing Atelier Brunette fabrics since the brand's first creations in 2013. I find their viscose fabrics to be perfect for sewing custom dresses. The prints are modern and the color range is very beautiful.
My Janome Skyline S7 is the centerpiece of my sewing workshop. Janome is a century-old Japanese brand and is the world's leading manufacturer of sewing machines. If you live in the Paris region or are traveling to Paris, I recommend going to the shop on Rue de Courcelles where you will be greeted by the lovely Cindy who will advise you on the machines.
Mango has been my publishing house since 2014 and it is thanks to them that I became a designer of sewing patterns. I have been following this entrepreneurial path since writing my first book 8 years ago. Mango's sewing catalog has expanded over the years with many essential books to have in your sewing library.
La Petite Maison Couture is the finishing touch to add to your handmade creations. The textile labels created by Elaine are creative, fun and modern. Who hasn't sewn a "Bonjour Beauté" on their sewing project yet?!
