The Gathered Skirt is a sewing pattern to create a classic skirt or dress that will flatter all figures thanks to its straight cut hiding the hips and its small gathers at the waist.

How does it work?

Create your unique and custom sewing pattern by mixing tops, bottoms and sleeves. The compositions are endless! For a complete creation, you need at least 2 patterns.

Fabric

The mix-and-match patterns are designed to be made using woven fabrics without stretch. Opt for lightweight or medium-weight fabrics (viscose, tencel, crepe, …).

Supplies

• SHORT:
from 34 to 36 : 60 cm of 140 cm wide fabric
from 38 to 56 : 120 cm of 140 cm wide fabric

• MIDI: 160 cm of 140 cm wide fabric
• LONG: 200 cm of 140 cm wide fabric
• CEREMONY: 235 cm of 140 cm wide fabric
* fabric meterage is the same if your top pattern has a center back or side closure.

To get the complete list for your project, add up the top, bottom and sleeves supplies.

Sizing

The mix-and-match patterns are available from 34 to 56:

• bust from 80 to 136 cm
• waist from 62 to 114 cm
• hips from 86 to 138 cm.

Each size is available in 2 bust cups and 3 heights for a made-to-measure fit without pattern adjustments. All sizes are provided in the patterns. The layered pattern sheets allow you to print only the size(s) you want.

Follow the 4-step method to find the ideal size for your figure and sew a made-to-measure creation. Once you have found your size, it will be the same for all mix-and-match patterns!
